Product Liability

Defective products are a major cause of personal injury. The category of defective products can include children’s toys, consumer goods, home appliances – even food. Medicines can have unforeseen side effects; faulty charcoal grills could cause burns. Any of these could cause personal injury – or even death.

Manufacturers aren’t always as careful as they should be in designing or building a product. In fact, there were 2,363 product recalls in 2011, and this number doesn’t reflect individual defective products, only products that were defective as a whole.

Product liability may apply in any of these cases. Product liability law holds the parties responsible for dangerous products responsible for any injury they might cause.

We take product liability very seriously. In fact, cases involving defective products are one of our chief areas of practice. Let us decide for you if your experience with faulty merchandise warrants a court case. The consultation is free, and we’ll be straightforward when we respond to your concerns.
